A major partner since CIS Rome-Floyd started in 1993, with a
Georgia Power grant, the company continues to be a big supporter,
providing resources to CIS students. Georgia Power was the first
corporation to start mentoring young people in Rome and Floyd
County, and other companies soon followed suit. The company's
staff  are often guest speakers for CIS students, teaching them
career and life skills, as well as hosting a tour of their facilities. And
Georgia Power continues to be a generous contributor in support of
our School Mentor program.

On this recent spring day, the Floyd County PLC students and
Georgia Power volunteers enjoyed working together for a day of
service to the community. Thanks Georgia Power !
